Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account: name, email, password hash, username, and sign-in identifiers if you use Google, Microsoft, or X.
• Marketplace: listings, photos, bids, messages, reviews, and fulfillment status.
• Payments: Stripe processes cards and seller payouts. We receive tokens, charge ids, Connect account ids, and payout status — not full card numbers.
• Shipping: names, addresses, package size/weight, and tracking. Carriers and Shippo see what they need to quote and label.
• Device: IP, browser, pages, and cookies needed to keep you signed in, measure performance, and stop abuse.

2. How we use it

• Run the marketplace: accounts, listings, checkout, shipping, payouts.
• Prevent fraud, scams, off-platform deals, and prohibited items.
• Comply with law, card-network rules, and Stripe Connect requirements.
• Email you about your account, sales, and shipments. No sold mailing lists.

If you are in the EEA/UK, we process account and transaction data to perform the contract, security and fraud data as a legitimate interest, and tax / legal-hold data because the law requires it.

3. Who we share with

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

• Stripe — payments, Connect Express onboarding, tax, disputes. See Stripe’s privacy notice.
• Shippo and carriers — rates, labels, tracking.
• Vercel and Neon — hosting and database in the United States.
• Sign-in providers — Google, Microsoft, or X, only if you choose that button.
• Other users see your public seller profile, listings, and what a sale requires (for example a ship-to address after checkout). Invoice Board contact stays gated until a sale is secured on-platform.
• We share data when legally required (valid subpoena, court order, or warrant) or to protect the platform from fraud or harm.

4. Cookies

We use a session cookie so you stay signed in, plus first-party analytics on the deploy host (Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights). We do not run advertising pixels to sell profiles. You can refuse cookies in your browser; sign-in will not work without a session cookie.

5. Retention and security

We keep account, order, and payout records while the account is open and as long as tax, dispute, chargeback, and bookkeeping rules require after it closes (often several years). We use HTTPS, access-controlled hosting, and hashed passwords. No method is 100% secure. We will notify you of a breach as required by applicable law.

6. Your choices and rights

• Update profile details in settings.
• Ask us to close an account or export what we hold via support@asisrawdeals.com. We may keep records the law requires.
• California / similar US state laws: you may request access, deletion, and correction. We will not discriminate for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those statutes define those words. Authorized-agent requests go to the same email. A Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information request is the same mailbox — we already do not sell or share.

Categories we collect (CCPA / CPRA):

• Identifiers — name, email, username, IP, cookie ids, Stripe / Connect ids.
• Commercial information — listings, bids, orders, payouts, shipping addresses.
• Internet activity — pages, device/browser, sign-in events.
• Geolocation (coarse) — IP and ZIP used for rates and fraud.
• Inferences — seller level and fraud/risk flags.

We do not collect sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. Photos you upload may show your face or workspace; that is listing content you chose to post.

• EEA/UK: you may also object, restrict, or lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Transfers to the US are to the processors named above, using their standard contractual clauses where they offer them.

7. Children

As Is is 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn we did, we delete it. Parents: write support@asisrawdeals.com.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top is the current version. Material changes take effect when posted. Keep using the site after that and you accept the new policy.
